More get up and go!

I’m inspired to blog a bit more on this vitality subject.

What I’ve noticed is how one can be so full of energy even in a malnourished state.

You may have seen this with some poor children or, in yourself when you are driven by necessity to get something done. This is a valid observation and phenomenon no doubt created by the individual despite his low energy body and is more in the realm of mental or spiritual activity than physiology.
Probably demonstrating also that there is a more senior ‘force’ or entity in charge of the body.

Anyway, as you know: the younger the body the more capacity there is for sustained bursts of energy throughout the day.

But as a middle aged bloke myself how can I apply all the wisdom about wellness to this body of mine and live an energetic life – (needless to say without drugs?)

Assuming you’re not a lazy individual, I presume that like me, you do want more vitality so that you can get more done easily without feeling tired.

So for example the next time my wife asks me to chop up some wood for the fire I can youthfully spring into action and manfully wear my hat as a husband and afterwards cheerfully say ‘anything else dearest’!?

Okay, well that is what this is all about. I’m interested in enlightening myself via culled books from my personal library and authorities on the net to share it with others - you.

I trawl for what I consider to be, in my opinion, some key valuable data you can use to help have your body functioning at optimum wellbeing.

No sales pitch or hidden agenda; though I do have this weight loss and sports nutrition distributorship.

I present this unbiassedly as a public service to you dear reader.

Today’s recommended book: Doctor Jamie McManus

Your Personal Guide to Wellness  What your doctor doesn’t have time to tell you.

She writes how to get well, stay well and enjoy your long years ahead!

  • Because doctors are simply too busy to give advice.
  • Because weeding through all the available health information is overwhelming.
  • Because it is your body and you should have the tools to get and stay healthy without leaving your home!

My tip for today? Thanks for asking.

Check that the cause of a headache is not because of de-hydration? Sometimes drinking a few glasses of water can remedy that headache.
