HERBALIFE 2013 - 3RD QUARTER PERFORMANCE

We have remained focused on performance, and once again, our performance has been outstanding.

For the third quarter of this year, net sales of $1.2 billion represent an increase of 19 percent, compared to the same time period in 2012, on volume point growth of 13 percent on the same period last year. This is our sixteenth consecutive quarter of double-digit top-line growth and to emphasize our belief that demand for our products will continue to be driven higher by the global mega-trends of obesity and aging – we have increased our guidance again for the full year.

Our third quarter performance was reflected worldwide, as our Distributors continue to build sustainable businesses focused on developing long-term customers. Importantly, we are seeing growth and momentum in some of our oldest markets, such as the UK, with the complementary business methods of Weight Loss Challenge and Nutrition Clubs being key drivers behind the 95 percent volume growth versus the same period last year. And in the U.S., with 21 of the top 25 metro U.S. markets posting growth in the third quarter, and the largest collective entrance of new Members in the company’s history year to date, clearly demonstrating that public confidence in our company and business model has never been greater.

As Surgeon General of the United States from 2002 - 2006, a distinguished professor of public health, and an experienced business leader, Dr. Carmona brings more than 40 years of experience in medicine, nutrition, preventative health and management. We look forward to leveraging his expertise as part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the nutritional benefits of all Herbalife products and our continued efforts to empower our Members and Distributors. We are experiencing tremendous growth around the world -- driven by increased consumption of our nutrition products and highly engaged Members.
